Ofenbach (internationally acclaimed DJ/producer duo Dorian Lo and César de Rummel) have teamed up with German DJ/producers Quarterhead and American singer Norma Jean Martine on new track ‘Head Shoulders Knees & Toes’. The single is currently taking Europe by storm and now it is Australia’s turn.
At just 24, the Parisian DJs and producers Dorian Lo and César de Rummel (Ofenbach) have been active since 2014 clocking up over 500 Million streams. The young musicians had a creative epiphany when they heard the productions of Daft Punk, then set off on fusing elements of traditional rock and electronic dance music with pop appeal. After an assortment of singles and remixes released during 2014 and 2015, they broke through in 2016 with "Be Mine," which landed within the Top Ten of several charts across the world, including France, where it earned a diamond certification.
In 2017 they worked with the songwriter Nick Waterhouse for the exquisitely retro ‘Katchi’ (ranked 6th in Europe for airplay and the world's most Shazamed dance track for three months), then with Benjamin Ingrosso, the Stockholm songwriter who represented Sweden in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. This led to a new hit in France that ended up in the no. 2 spot of most played tracks on the radio!
Since the COVID-19 lockdown, they have been busy writing and producing new music in the studio. ‘Head Shoulders Knees & Toes’ comes just after their ‘Physical’ remix for Dua Lipa, and there is plenty more new music to come.
